"Activate!” is an engaging and thought-provoking theatre production encouraging young people to gain confidence in their political agency. The play explores themes of youth empowerment, community responsibility, and personal growth through a dynamic blend of storytelling and physical theatre.
It challenges audiences to reflect on their role within their community and how they can take active steps to make a positive difference.

The production is a joint project developed by Applecart Arts in partnership with University of East London and Newham’s Youth Empowerment Services. Activate! has been commissioned by Culture Within Newham with funding from Arts Council England.
