Share recipes with tasty samples, alongside stories, poetry, song at the launch of a new recipe book filled with stories from older Newham residents. This cookbook launch is organised by Jazanne Arts as part of Cooking Connections, a project commissioned by Culture Within Newham.
The event will include drama, song, poetry, food demos and readings from the new book. It will be an interactive and entertaining experience, where the audience will be offered refreshments, including tasters from a couple of the recipes featured in the book. There will be plenty of opportunity to mix and socialise with other residents from Newham and to get a copy of the book.
