East London Creative Communities: Online Q&A

Lights of Unity event at Beckton Globe Library.

This online session is for people who are interested in applying for the East London Creative Communities artist commission opportunity.

East London Creative People and Places network are piloting a new project which will support eleven artists based in Redbridge, Newham, Barking & Dagenham, and Havering to participate in a bespoke training programme designed and delivered in February 2025. After the training, artists will then work with the team in their borough to develop new artwork for public spaces and/or deliver creative activity for local residents to put their newly gained skills into practice. This work will happen between March and December 2025 depending on the specific opportunity.

This event is one of two online Q&A’s. The Q&A’s are opportunities to meet representatives from East London Creative People and Places Network and Art School Plus, and ask any questions you may have about the programme or the application process. The other Q&A is on Tuesday 3rd December, 4-5pm.

To discuss any access requirements or ask any questions, please contact Sophie sophie.crocker@culturewithin.org.uk.
