On 6th March, Culture Within Newham are hosting an online Q&A session on Zoom for anyone interested in applying for the recently launched open call Summer of Wellbeing: A Season of Creativity and Connection for Newham. This will be an informal session to answer any questions you may have regarding the open call or the application process.

Summer of Wellbeing is an open call is for groups or individuals to apply for up to £5,000 to deliver a creative, cultural or artistic project that has a focus on ‘wellbeing’. It is aimed at small and grassroots organisations. For us, wellbeing can be about health, but also more broadly about community joy, post-Covid healing, mindfulness, quality of life or happiness.

Three projects will be commissioned and delivered from June to September 2024 as a free wellbeing season open to everyone in Newham. For more information about the commission, including details of how to apply please visit the application page.

Summer of Wellbeing is one of two current commission opportunities from Culture Within Newham. Our other open call, Shaped By Community, is for larger £15,000 commissions with a broader scope going beyond wellbeing.
