Culture Within Newham in partnership with Applecart Arts are hosting Plashet Park Circus Fun Day this summer.
At this free family-friendly event, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in circus arts workshops and experience performances from Aerial Gymnastics London, The Majorettes, Acro-juggler and more! With a range of opportunities that mean everyone can have a go, as well as face painting and balloon modelling, this is fun for all the family.

Performances
Main Stage
Acro-Juggler
Acro-Jugggler offer a breathtaking array of acts including juggling, acrobatics, stilt walkers, and unicyclists. Working across corporate events, street shows, or cabaret performances, they bring a touch of magic to every occasion.

Aerial A-Frame
Aerial Gymnastics London
Aerial Gymnastics London's professional artists will be showing off their aerial skills on the large A-Frame. There will also be plenty of opportunities for you to have a go; with aerial sling, hula-hoop, juggling and poi workshops throughout the day.
The Bobby Dazzler Stage
The Bobby Dazzler is Hackney Showroom's amazing touring stage on wheels. You’ll be kept entertained by DJ Emilia and MC Chu-I throughout the day, and hula-hoop troupe The Majorettes will be popping up for performances.

Workshops
Take part in free workshops where you’ll learn Aerial Sling, Bamboo Circus, Hula Hoop, Juggling and Poi.

In partnership with
Applecart Arts support emerging visual and performing artists, both locally in Newham and across the UK. Their organisation provides community projects within schools and with underrepresented groups, with a focus on improving wellbeing in their communities.

Summer of Wellbeing
Culture Within Newham have commissioned a ‘Summer of Wellbeing’ to take place across Newham from June-September 2024.The Summer of Wellbeing is a series of free events aimed at bringing creative wellbeing to everyone in Newham.
