Price: Free

Do you live or work in Manor Park, Newham? If so, come, connect, create, and celebrate in this heartwarming two-session pottery workshop designed to bring people together and combat loneliness. In the first session on 25th April, you'll learn basic pottery decoration techniques and paint a mug or cup, reflecting your unique story. This session is open to all, and is part of Culture Within Newham’s Micro-Commissioning scheme.

Then, return for a fabulous tea party on 2nd May where we’ll reveal your beautiful creations and enjoy some tea, cake, and great conversation.

Workshop outline

  • Session 1: Learn simple techniques to decorate your own mug or cup, creating a keepsake that’s uniquely yours. This session is open to everyone.

  • Session 2: You're invited to a community party! Come and catch up with others who've taken part in the workshop and take a look at your amazing creations! Refreshments provided.
