The Eastern European Photography Club: Newham Through Our Lens, is a photography club open to all, serving as a platform for Eastern European migrants in Newham to tell their unique stories through the art of photography and a safe space to share ideas and experiences.

The photography meet-ups, run by renowned photographer Paulina Korobkiewicz, are dedicated to sharing narratives and discussions around visual storytelling; documenting Newham from an Eastern European perspective, capturing everyday life, focusing on the themes of identity, and belonging, collective memory, and community voices.

Whether you’re an experienced photographer or just starting out, join us in capturing our stories in Newham. There are five workshops running throughout February to May 2024.

  • Saturday 24 February
