Summer of Wellbeing: Plashet Park Circus Fun Day

Photos by Navneet Jayakumar (Nav’s Art)

Overview

On Saturday 13 July, we held a fun-filled day of circus themed performances and opportunities to get involved at Plashet Park, in partnership with Applecart Arts.

Open to all the community, this free family-friendly event was an opportunity to take part in circus arts workshops and experience a range of performances from across circus arts, including hula-hoop, aerials, juggling and even bamboo circus!

With face painting, a balloon artist, and Applecart Arts cooking up a storm on the BBQ, the Circus Fun Day was a day of outdoor community joy.

Plashet Park Circus Fun Day was commissioned by Culture Within Newham as part of our ‘Summer of Wellbeing’, a commission to nourish and support the wellbeing of Newham residents.
