Culture Within Newham are looking for local residents to join their Community Voices Panel and shape the future of arts and culture in Newham!

Culture Within Newham, the borough-wide arts programme unleashing new creative opportunities for all residents, are looking for eighteen Newham residents to join their Community Voices Panel. The Community Voices Panel is a community-led steering group that helps us make decisions about how we do that. Members are paid for their time.
We are keen to work with people from all areas of the borough who feel that they can represent their neighbourhood and communities in our discussions. We are looking for eighteen people, two from each of the following areas:
Beckton and Royal Docks
Canning Town
Custom House
East Ham and Plashet
Forest Gate
Green Street and Upton Park
Manor Park and Little Ilford
Plaistow
Stratford and West Ham

We’re interested in hearing about why you want to be involved with Culture Within Newham, and why you believe you are well placed to represent the community. We also need to know some demographic information about you as it’s important that the Community Voices Panel reflects the diversity of Newham.
The deadline for expressions of interest is 1 November 2024, 9am (extended from 30th October).
