Glow Home

by Adam Moore

Glow Home is a collection of neon sculpted lights hanging inside the windows of Beckton Globe Library. Each sculpted light is inspired by the local community, with the choice of shapes representing belonging and home.

Adam collaborated with several groups who meet at Beckton Globe Library - Knit & Natter, Forever Young, Lego Club and the wider community to create symbols representing their experience of library services

People were invited to share a drawing or a written piece. Adam created three compositions based on these drawings, and the community voted to choose the final piece.

The library is a central beacon, which attracts all the different groups that come here.
